5G services in India were inaugurated by PM Modi at IMC 2022. Complete rollout to happen by the end of 2023 while telecom companies- Airtel, Vodafone,etc demonstrated their 5G services.
With the official inauguration of 5G launch in India, most people can expect to get the access by the end of year. Airtel states 8 cities to get 5G access while Jio 5G will rollout to 4 other metro cities by the end of Diwali.
The India Mobile Congress 2022 welcomed the launch of 5G where the top telecom operators showcased their 5G tech.
While Reliance Jio and Airtel announced 5G services launched in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai by Diwali this year, many other operators have promised it by the end of the year. It is expected to take around a year for India to complete 5G.
With features like fast data speed (20 times more than usual), people can’t wait to enjoy the full benefits of 5G. Delhi international airport ltd (DIAL) terminal 3 has already announced the official launch of 5G. Passengers will soon get its benefits!
For Vodafone users, it might take some time to get 5G service than Airtel and Jio but the telecom operator says “coming soon”. They are still testing their 5G service
The first 13 cities to enjoy 5G in India are Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Lucknow, and Pune.
