Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 SoC launched By Qualcomm

If you are a fan of the Snapdragon 7 SoC, it is now soon ready to launch under the very known Qualcomm- good news? It is a mid range model with prime performance cores functioning at 2.4+ GHz.  It is going to be the same as TSMC’s 4 nm node, and its speed will match that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

It is reported by an Insider’s news, his Twitter account took us all in wow stating that Qualcomm is currently testing the Snapdragon 7 chip with code name SM7475. The insider is none other than Roland Quandt who also revealed about the tri-cluster design of the new Snapdragon (same as Snapdragon 7 Gen 1).

If you are unfamiliar with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, let us take you through some of the specs- it has the prime Cortex-A710 core that is clocked at 2.4 GHz. The 4 cortex- A510 has efficiency rate at 1.8 GHz while the 3 Cortex-A710 efficiency is at 2.36 GHz. The new version will have improved designs, clocks, prime, and performance. The gold cores run around 2.4+ GHz with the efficiency of silver cores at 1.8 GHz.

The suggestion was made by the WCCFTech to name this new chip as the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1. It was done to make it similar to that of the SM8475 ( the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1). It is expected to be released around November 15. Let us wait for the same until the announcement!
