WhatsApp Released Updates For Community In iOS And Android

WhatsApp which is a popular instant social media platform has released a new upgrade to the community tool for both the user’s iOS and Android. WABetainfo has presented a report in which they have mentioned that the announcement group is going to have a new name “Home” for the Android system and “Updates” for the iOS system. 

This community tool of the WhatsApp helps in building connections with such people who have common interests and thoughts. The announcement group is such a group in which the communication is in the read only mode which can be seen by the community admins only, which makes it different from the other groups present in the WhatsApp, resulting in the fact of changing the name of this. 

Apart from this, the option to access this particular section was shifted to the upper chat panel from the lower panel where it was found earlier and this step has been taken to improve the user experience on the platform with a proper synchronisation in chats. The new upgrade to WhatsApp Communities at Android and iOS platform allows the admins to send the message in the community group without any kind of bugs. 

This new feature can be used by some of the consumers by upgrading the beta version of the App through App store or play store and it is expected that in the upcoming days, this will be made available for everyone.
