The 5G network is soon to be a mandatory addition by smartphone manufacturers. That’s why all the high-end companies are slowly rolling off 5G support soon.
According to the survey conducted, it was found that there were a lot of Samsung devices that didn’t have 5G network access. This is because the brand needs to update the devices for the same.
After this survey, Samsung has confirmed that it will update the 5G network in its smartphones by November mid whereas Apple will do the same by December.
A list of smartphones was released by Airtel and it compiled the names of smartphones that are yet to turn 5G compatible. This list has several Samsung devices, keep reading to find out if your smartphone is one of them.
5G Compatible Devices
If you have any of the following devices, it means that you can already access the 5G network –
Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy ZS Flip 4, Galaxy S21 FE, and Galaxy M33
If you own any of the following devices, your phone is yet to be upgraded to match the 5G radio frequency –
Galaxy A73, Galaxy M13, Galaxy S21 and S21+, Galaxy M53, galaxy M42, Galaxy M32, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A73, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A22, Galaxy M52, Galaxy F42, Galaxy S21 Ultra, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
According to the Samsung Spokesperson
Samsung India’s spokesperson has said that the company has envisioned the development of a 5G network since 2009 and was one of the first companies to come forward and standardised its role worldwide. Samsung is now working with the operating partners to bring updated 5G models for all its users.
